I began at the age of 9 working in a small Italian corner market in Detroit. Earning $3 a week, I was the richest kid in Detroit. Interrupted only by a call to the Army, I have been in the grocery business all my life.

My specialty in the meat industry rose in the 1960’s as my wife and I were raising our young family of 4 kids. My dream was to own my very own meat market. I remember telling the kids we would all work together in my meat market. Well, with the help of those very same kids, we have exceeded my expectations.

Thanks to all of you who have come over the years to our family's business. Since 1978, you have blessed us with your patronage. It is a great honor to be part of your daily and holiday gatherings. We will continue to strive to exceed your expectations because you deserve it!
